We are a Munich -based engineering start-up focused on building next-generation autonomous systems for defence applications.
Our team is developing high-performance unmanned platforms designed to operate reliably in complex and unpredictable environments. We combine rapid engineering cycles with close collaboration alongside end users, ensuring what we build is not just technically impressive—but operationally effective.
As we scale, we’re looking for a GNC Specialist to take a key role in shaping the performance and intelligence of our systems.
The Role :
As a GNC Specialist, you will be responsible for the core algorithms that enable autonomous behaviour, from stabilisation and navigation through to mission execution.
You’ll work across the full lifecycle — from modelling and simulation through to real-world testing and iteration.
What You’ll Do :
- Develop and refine guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for aerial platforms
- Design state estimation and sensor fusion systems (IMU, GNSS, vision-based inputs)
- Implement and tune flight control systems for robustness and precision
- Contribute to real-time software running on embedded systems
- Build simulation environments and run SIL/HIL testing
- Participate in field trials and flight testing, iterating quickly based on results
What We’re Looking For :
- Background in aerospace engineering, robotics, control systems, or similar field
- Strong understanding of:
- Control systems (PID, LQR, or similar)
- State estimation (Kalman filtering, sensor fusion)
- System dynamics and modelling
- Hands-on programming experience in:
- C++ (required)
- Python / MATLAB / Simulink
- Experience taking algorithms from theory into real-world systems
- Comfortable working in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment
Nice to Have :
- Experience with UAVs, autonomous vehicles, or defence-related systems
- Familiarity with navigation in degraded or denied environments
- Embedded systems or real-time software experience
- Exposure to flight testing or hardware integration
- Eligibility for EU security clearance
Why Join Us
- Work on systems where performance and reliability genuinely matter
- Be part of a small, highly technical team with significant ownership
- See your work move quickly from concept to live operational use
- Opportunity to help shape critical European defence capabilities
- Berlin-based, with access to regular testing environments across Europe
