About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to develop and expand relationships with EPC customers and project developers across the BeNeLux region. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a leading organization within the renewable energy sector while building long-term customer partnerships and driving business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and develop new EPC and project developer customers while expanding existing customer relationships across the BeNeLux region.
- Build and maintain long-term customer partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the entire sales cycle—from initial engagement through to after-sales support.
- Conduct sales presentations and pre-sales activities, including customer needs assessments and professional consultation during the acquisition phase.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Prepare, present, negotiate, and manage commercial proposals and contracts.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, trade fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Several years of experience within the renewable energy sector, ideally in the solar/PV industry and utility-scale or ground-mounted projects. Experience within the electrical industry or broader energy sector will also be considered.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven success in sales-focused positions such as Key Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar roles.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (minimum 30%) and possession of a valid driving licence.
- Excellent English communication skills (minimum C1 level); German language skills are considered an advantage.
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, structured, and results-oriented working style.
- Nice to have: Experience or market knowledge within the UK and/or Scandinavian markets, with an interest in supporting future regional expansion.
