Project Scheduler – Energy Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d)

Location: Düsseldorf area, Germany
Working model: Hybrid with occasional travel within Germany
Employment type: Full-time

About the Role

They are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to coordinate project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure that key milestones are achieved. You will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, site personnel, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and regularly update detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project planning and scheduling.
  • Gather and validate scheduling information from engineering, procurement, construction, and installation stakeholders.
  • Organise project workflows and ensure activities remain aligned with agreed deadlines.
  • Prepare resource plans, milestone schedules, and critical-path analyses.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, or scheduling conflicts.
  • Adjust schedules where necessary and support the development of recovery plans.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project and installation management.
  • Ensure accurate scheduling data is collected from project managers, engineers, site teams, procurement, and subcontractors.
  • Support the wider project team in the successful and timely delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

Your Background

Essential:
  • Professional experience in project planning or scheduling.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and analyse complex project schedules.
  • Confident communication with project managers, engineers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Eligibility to live and work in Germany.

Advantageous:
  • Experience supporting construction or installation projects.
  • Background in energy, utilities, electrical infrastructure, or a related technical industry.
  • Experience with large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar project-planning software.
