About the Role
My client is an established leader in the renewable energy sector, committed to delivering fully fossil-free energy solutions. With over 25 years of experience, they develop and operate projects across wind, solar, and green hydrogen, supporting a global energy portfolio exceeding 30 GW.
Their service division operates independently of turbine manufacturers, providing comprehensive maintenance and operational support for wind energy assets across Germany and Europe. This includes servicing, fault resolution, preventative maintenance, and major component replacement to ensure continuous, reliable operation.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the advancement of the energy transition within a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and servicing of wind turbines to ensure reliable operation
- Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and effectively
- Inspect and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components, including control and regulation systems
- Accurately document all work carried out
- Proactively implement technical improvements with attention to detail
- Adhere to the highest standards of quality and health & safety
Candidate Profile
- Completed technical training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field (e.g. Automotive Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics) in Germany.
- Experience in wind energy is beneficial, though motivated candidates from other technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable with travel and working at height
- Flexible, dependable, and hands-on approach
- Valid driving licence (Class B or BE)
- Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) -
