About the role
Ready to shape how connected energy systems operate at scale?
As Head of Product , you will define and lead the strategy for how distributed energy assets such as solar inverters, batteries, heat pumps and more integrate into a unified, intelligent ecosystem.
This role requires deep, hands on experience in the energy sector.
We are specifically looking for candidates who have built products within energy, worked with energy systems, or operated in environments involving distributed energy resources, utilities, or energy platforms. This is not a role for generalist product leaders without direct energy domain expertise.
You will own the product direction for interoperability across devices, partners, and cloud platforms, directly influencing how modern energy systems are orchestrated and optimized.
What you will own:
Product strategy and vision
You define and evolve the long term vision for connectivity across energy devices, partner ecosystems, and cloud integrations. You translate complex energy market dynamics, regulatory constraints, and customer needs into a clear, executable roadmap.
End to end product ownership
You own the full lifecycle of connectivity products from discovery through to launch and scale, ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and valuable in real world energy environments.
Team leadership and development
You lead and grow a team of Product Managers, raising the bar for product thinking and execution. You build a culture of accountability, ownership, and deep domain understanding.
Cross functional execution
You work at the intersection of Engineering, Energy Operations, Commercial, and Design, aligning teams to deliver complex integrations reliably and at speed.
Ecosystem and partnerships
You define and scale partnerships with OEMs, utilities, and energy platforms. You expand the product ecosystem, ensuring seamless interoperability across a fragmented and highly technical landscape.
Integrations and platform capabilities
You oversee delivery of critical integrations including device level and cloud to cloud systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in energy critical systems.
Commercial ownership and budgeting
You own the financial performance of the connectivity domain, balancing investment, efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.
Metrics and performance
You define and track key metrics such as integration uptime, system reliability, partner success, and time to market, using data to continuously refine strategy.
Your profile:
- Candidates without direct energy experience will not be considered
Mandatory deep energy domain experience
You have significant, hands on experience in the energy sector. This could include distributed energy resources, energy management systems, utilities, renewables, grid technologies, or EV charging infrastructure.

Proven product leadership
You bring 8 plus years of experience building and scaling complex products, with a strong track record of owning strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
Experience with energy integrations or hardware ecosystems
You have worked with OEMs, device integrations, or platform ecosystems within energy or closely related industries.
Technical fluency
You understand system architectures, APIs, and integrations, and can confidently partner with engineering teams on complex technical challenges.
People leadership
You have led and developed product teams, built strong cross functional alignment, and created a high performance product culture.
Commercial and strategic mindset
You are comfortable owning budgets and making decisions that balance customer value, system constraints, and business impact.
Data driven and decisive
You rely on data and experimentation, but can move forward with clarity in ambiguous, high stakes situations.
Strong communication
You influence and align stakeholders across technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
