Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d)
Berlin| Full-time
Robotics is changing how products are built, moved, assembled and operated. We're looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join a team developing advanced robotic systems that combine mechanics, electronics and intelligent control.
You'll work across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design, test and integrate complex electromechanical systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the hardware and solving technical challenges in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll be doing
• Design and develop electromechanical components and subsystems for robotic platforms
• Integrate sensors, actuators, motors and control hardware into larger systems
• Build and test prototypes, conduct experiments and analyse performance data
• Support system integration, validation and commissioning activities
• Work closely with software, automation and manufacturing teams throughout development
• Identify technical issues and implement practical engineering solutions
• Contribute to product improvements and future platform development
What we're looking for
• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or a related discipline
• Experience working with electromechanical systems
• Understanding of sensors, actuators, motors and control technologies
• Hands-on approach to testing, troubleshooting and system integration
• Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to have
• Experience in robotics or automation
• CAD design experience
• Knowledge of embedded systems or control systems
• Familiarity with industrial robotics, AGVs, AMRs or autonomous systems
• Experience taking products from prototype through to deployment
Why join?
You'll be working on technology that combines precision engineering, electronics and robotics to solve real-world challenges. The role offers a high level of technical ownership, exposure to cutting-edge robotics projects and the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers across multiple disciplines.
If you're motivated by building things, improving how systems work and seeing your designs come to life, we'd like to hear from you.
