Freelance SAP S/4HANA Utilities Consultant | MaKo / Meter-to-Cash / German Energy
For an upcoming transformation programme within the German utilities sector, we are looking for an experienced Freelance SAP S/4HANA Utilities Consultant with strong functional knowledge of German energy-market processes.
The project involves the transition of existing utility processes into an S/4HANA Utilities environment, with particular focus on ensuring that regulatory and operational processes continue to function correctly throughout the transformation.
We are not looking for a pure SAP developer.
The priority is someone who understands both SAP Utilities and the underlying energy processes and can work between the Fachbereich, implementation teams and technical specialists.
Relevant project areas include:
- Marktkommunikation / MaKo
- GPKE
- WiM / Messstellenbetrieb
- Lieferantenwechsel 24h / LFW24
- GeLi Gas
- Meter-to-Cash processes
- Netzbetreiber / Lieferant / MSB processes
- Regulatory format and process changes
- Migration and transformation of existing SAP IS-U processes
- Process design, testing and stabilisation
- Analysis of gaps between legacy IS-U processes and S/4HANA Utilities
- Supporting Fachkonzeption, workshops and implementation
Experience with SAP IS-U legacy environments is highly valuable, particularly where you have already been involved in an IS-U to S/4HANA Utilities transformation.
Knowledge of areas such as MaCo Cloud, Common Layer, APE, EDIFACT, PDocs or SAP Utilities process integration would be particularly interesting.
Ideal profile:
A senior freelance SAP Utilities consultant who understands the German energy market in depth and can challenge process designs rather than simply configure what is written in a specification.
Experience with Stadtwerke, Netzbetreiber or Messstellenbetreiber would be especially relevant.
